Che Lopez is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, and has worked as a traditional cell animator, web designer and professional artist since 1993. He was also a USA Boxing Coach and has trained both pro and amateur Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA fighters from the Northwest since 2004. He finally closed the doors of his gym Team Eastside FC in Redmond in 2013 after 10 years in order to paint and teach full time. Che is knowledgeable and has taught many different mediums over many years of teaching and giving private lessons. Many of his students have gone on to Digipen, Cornish Collage of the Arts and University of Washington, and some with scholarships and portfolios.
Che is Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor Society (NWWS), Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists (PSG) and also an associate member of the American Watercolor Society. He was nominated to become the NWWS Vice- President for 2016-17 and President for the 2017-18 year. Che is a stay-at-home dad and most days you can catch him working in his studio with his two little ones in tow.
