Pratt’s Flameworking Studio is an inviting space for artists of all levels to explore the intricate art of working with borosilicate and soft glass using small torches. Artists can experiment with various techniques to create detailed glass pieces, from beads to sculptures.
In our hot casting classes artists can practice casting techniques using sand, steel, organic materials, and molds. Our Hot Shop offers a unique opportunity to explore this unique art form in a supportive and creative environment.
Kiln Casting techniques empower artists to explore the transformative art of glass casting through hands-on practice. In the mold making room, artists explore essential skills in wax working, silicone mold-making, and plaster mold-making before casting their work in glass using kilns.
