SEATTLE, WASH - On Saturday, September 9th from 6 - 9 pm, Pratt Fine Arts Center will open its doors to the public for an Open House to provide an exciting and welcoming environment for the public to learn about Pratt’s classes, studios, instructors, and more.

This year, Pratt will also celebrate its 40th anniversary by offering an art sale that will feature over 150 fabulous pieces from the Pratt collection, generously donated by artists. Art sale items will also be available for purchase online starting the night of Open House and all funds from the sale will benefit Pratt’s programs.

Live artist demonstrations will give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at Pratt's unique programming, and a chance to meet instructors, students and staff. Visitors will see dozens of professional artists blow glass, pull prints, carve stone, pour molten bronze, forge red hot steel, do wood turning and more!

A variety of hands-on activities are available free for kids. Special discounts on Pratt classes will also be available to Open House attendees who register during the event.

Music and dance performances will be provided by Gansago, and food trucks from Sweet Momma Brown and BC Zhang will be onsite to provide tasty fare.
