Studio Access Program

Reservations are open for studio access. Please refer to the Conditions for Access and How to Become a Studio Access User sections before using the links under Reserve Studio Time to find the reservation calendars for each studio. 
 

Studio Protocols & Info

Conditions for Access: 

Anyone interested in utilizing studios or equipment independently via the Studio Access program must display proficiency in using our facilities safely and correctly. To become a Studio Artist and access Pratt studios independently, users must meet the following criteria:  

• Successful completion of Studio Access Proficiency Test  

• Current membership at Journeyman level or higher

• Signed Liability Waiver Agreement form on file 

• Signed Studio User Code of Conduct Acknowledgement Form 

• Compliance with all regular and Safe Start policies, protocols, and procedures 

How to Become a Studio Access User: 

1. Call or visit the Pratt Front Desk to pay the $25 appointment fee* 

2. A Studio Access Coordinator will contact you via email or phone to schedule appointment for orientation and/or Studio Access test 

3. Pass a Studio Access Proficiency Test 

4. Become a Member** 

5. Turn in signed Acknowledgement Form & Waiver 

6. Start using the studio! 

*Upon successful completion of the Studio Access Test, the appointment fee will be credited to your account for application towards your first studio access.  

If you need to cancel and reschedule an appointment, you must email the Studio Access Coordinator at least 24 hours in advance.  

If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment (no call, no show), the $25 fee is retained to cover Pratt’s expenses associated with having a coordinator on-site. If you want to schedule a new appointment you must pay another $25 fee. 

**Minimum Journeyman level. Annual fee required.  

Reservations 

• Reservations are required for all studio access 

• Reserve sessions online and pay in advance at Pratt’s website 

• Report directly to the studio at reserved time 

Requirements 

• Stay home if symptomatic or if you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19* 

• Compliance with current Mask & Vaccination Policy

• Wash and/or disinfect hands frequently 

• Follow studio-specific safety policies and protocols during use 

Tools & Equipment 

• In some cases, users may be asked to provide your own personal tools  

• All users will be required to follow the clean-up and disinfecting procedures for each studio 

Cancellation Policy 

• Refunds will be issued, minus a 10% cancellation fee, for reservations cancelled with more than 48 hours notice. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice.  

• *In order to encourage sick, exposed or infected individuals to stay home, cancellation fees will be waived for reservations that are cancelled due to these reasons, though a minimum 72-hour waiting period will apply for future reservations, as determined by Pratt’s Recovery & Return criteria (see Safe Start COVID-19 Exposure Mitigation & Response Policy). 

Food & Drink 

• Food & beverages may be consumed on premises.
