Fused: A Festival of Glass

Join us at Pratt Fine Arts Center for a celebration of glass art in the northwest and so much more! Enjoy amazing artist demonstrations in a dozen different studios, live music by internationally known Tlingit glass artist Preston Singletary's all Indigenous band Khu.éex’, DJ, food trucks, cash bars, and a live bronze pour! Don't miss this chance to see renowned Lummi glass artist Dan Friday blowing in the hotshop and Etsuko Ichikawa painting her signature pyrographs with molten glass. It's the ultimate art party! 

Event Schedule:
DJ Essex 6-7pm & 9-10pm
Dan Friday – featured glassblowing demonstration 6-10pm
Etsuko Ichikawa – featured glass pyrograph demonstration 6-10pm
Bronze Pour – sculpture students perform a live bronze pour 6:30pm
Khu.éex' – live performance, all indigenous band 7-9pm

Pratt Hot Shop Demo Hours during Refract: 

Stop in for a peek at some of Pratt’s most gifted glassblowers in action during Open Studio day in the Hot Shop! Engage directly with the artists as they share their processes and techniques. Multiple artists will be onsite throughout each day. Seating is limited.

During REFRACT, the hot shop studio is free and open to the public for viewing Pratt artists at work!
