Be part of our work study team.
Joining our work study team is a great way to get involved at Pratt. Work study students earn credits to use toward Pratt classes or studio rental in exchange for working in our studios or with our administrative staff.

Special Work Study Positions

Work Study Gallery Assistant: Pratt is seeking a Gallery Assistant to cover up to 2 Saturday shifts per month. Shifts will be from 12-5pm at the Pratt Gallery in the Tashiro Kaplan Building in Pioneer Square. The Gallery Assistant is responsible for opening and closing the gallery, receiving and releasing artwork, answering visitors’ questions, and handling small sales at the gallery. We desire applicants with strong customer service skills, an interest in art and who are independent and reliable. Please contact jcuster@pratt.org to obtain a work study application.

Work Study Photographers: Pratt is looking for flexible, experienced photographers to capture the energy of our classes and events throughout the year at Pratt and the Pratt Gallery at Tashiro Kaplan Studios in Pioneer Square.  Assignment hours vary with each project, but flexible availability is appreciated.  Applicants should have strong customer service skills, an interest in art, and be independent and reliable.  Please send your work samples to Jennifer Malley.

Pratt Fine Arts Center is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our events, including our Open House, Holiday Art Sale, Annual Fine Art Auction, and more.

Volunteers may help with mailings and data entry, set-up and break-down of events and various tasks during events.
